Off-season over!
Hey everyone. It’s been a while since I even thought of blogging or posting anything. I’ve been busy with Twitter…no not quite but anyways. I will give it another go, but this time biking will not be the only topic. Lot’s of things have changed and lots of things have come up in my life in the last year. I feel like there’s lots of interesting things I could talk about. So here’s how it may go: cycling, fitness, food, macramé, riends, views, cars and maybe a little fruitiness… if you catch my drift!
So about the bike…
My off season is now over. I believe I have had a good break and I’m now ready to get back at it. In the past weeks I’ve been taking it pretty easy, riding whenever I could and getting a few hours in at the gym. I am now ready to be a bit more organized or structured in my training. I’ll start slow though!
I feel like adding a larger social aspect to training might help me get through the winter with more motivation thus keeping my training consistent. I will get a gym membership from the university that way I can meet people there or go with friends from the University. I think I might like to do a few spinning classes and maybe even teach a few. Last but not least, I will cross country ski, joining a group of skiers such as Skinouk or Nakkertok during their base or endurance training sessions should keep me motivated. Of course, skiing with the guys at work is also lots of fun!
I definitely plan on going down south, but with school I will see. I’m planning 2 weeks in March and 1 week in April as a team building camp.
Oh! And the team roster is now complete. We are all set for 2010. More news on who? What?, When?, Where? and How? shortly! Still riding Kuota!
So there it is! The new Thomas Devisscher Blog!
